Aquatherm products are listed under NSF/ANSI 14, 51, and 61, for potable water, food-grade applications, and non-toxicity respectively. All Aquatherm polypropylene piping systems are manufactured to ASTM F2389 standards.
The Aquatherm Green Pipe system is listed under ICC 15140 and 15180 for use as domestic water piping as well as heating and cooling piping in any states using the I-Codes and are listed with IAPMO 2009. It is also listed under CSA B137.11 for use in hot and cold potable water systems.
The Aquatherm Blue Pipe system is listed under IMC 1202 and 1203 for use in hydronic applications, as well as IAPMO UMC 2009. In Canada, Aquatherm Blue Pipe is listed under CSA B214.
For situations where local code have not been updated to match ICC or IAPMO, Aquatherm has a team of knowledgeable experts who can work with local AHJs to make sure the pipe is approved for use.
