Fusion Connections

aquatherm fusionFor maximum profitability, mechanical contractors are looking for a joining process that is quick, simple, and reliable, with consistent labor costs. Aquatherm's heat fusion connections offer all this and more.

Making heat fusion connections using Aquatherm pipe is a simple and easy process of heating the pipe and fitting, carefully joining them and then letting them cool into a homogenous, lifetime connection. This process is often used in gas piping because of its low rate of failure and in ultra-pure systems because the connections are free of foreign materials.

Aquatherm's socket fusion technique (1/2"- 4") helps streamline the process of fusion, making it even faster and simpler. Aquatherm's specially engineered tools optimize heating temperatures and surface areas, reducing heating times and increasing the surface area of the connection.

Saddle connections help speed up installation even more by allowing most take-offs and branches to be installed after the main line are securely in place.

Larger pipe sizes (6" - 24") use a traditional butt fusion method, a technique which many contractors are already familiar with.

Aquatherm offers several training programs to accommodate the wide-ranging needs of mechanical contractors and plumbers.
