The birth of Lilac was based on requests we received from Australia to specially design a pipe with the reclamation of water in mind. The Lilac color we give credit to the Sydney Water Authority for--it is a part of their water specifications requirements so as not to confuse the use of such pipe with other pipes used for other purposes. The product is still fused at all joints with Aquatherm Greenpipe fittings. All of the quality and consistency of our process is maintained.
